Anthony "Tony" Stephen Robinson, 44, of St. Cloud, Minnesota died Friday, February 10, 2023, at his home. A memorial will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Christian Life Church, 421 S. 2nd St. in Newton, Iowa.

Tony was born on November 23, 1978, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Dean Stephen and Robin Patricia (Ripperger) Cooley.  He grew up in the Des Moines, Indianola and Grinnell areas. Tony spent his high school years in Little Falls, Minnesota.

Tony came back to Grinnell for a few years before returning to Little Falls, Long Prairie and St. Cloud, Minnesota areas, and calling them home. Tony worked various jobs in his time in Minnesota including Tim Dally Drywalling, Long Prairie Packing, and most recently NAPA Auto Store in St Cloud. He enjoyed video games, fishing and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Cubs.  Tony loved to laugh, play pranks, spend time with his friends and family.

Tony is survived by a son, Zachary Caldwell of Greely, Colorado;  siblings, Spencer (Rowena) Robinson of Derby, Iowa and Mandy Robinson of Newton. Nieces and nephews, Michael (Jenna) Robinson of Flanagan, Illinois,  Russell Robinson of Wenona, Illinois,  Kelsi (Zebulen) Williams of Oskaloosa, Iowa,  David and TJ Albertson of Newton, and many aunts and uncles.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Russell and Nettie Ripperger and Gerald and Lelah Robinson.
