Betty Hall, 69, of Grinnell, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at her house.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family and sent in care of Cox-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, PO Box 163, Grinnell, Iowa 50112.

Betty was born on August 29, 1954, the daughter of Jack and Zella (Haines) Delk. She graduated from Grinnell High School. On May 3, 1974, Betty married Terry Hall in Onslow County, North Carolina.

She will forever be remembered for her "funny" sarcastic humor and her awesome hugs. Betty enjoyed doing puzzles, playing SkipBo, watching soap operas and chatting on the phone; which could take an hour! She always looked forward to the Haines' family reunion and enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Betty was a kind soul, outspoken, stubborn and definitely one of a kind. "Oh boy" will she be missed.

Betty is survived by her husband, Terry Hall and her extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ray Delk, Retha Morton, Sharon Daughterty, Mari Barnes and Jack "Butch" Delk; and her nephew, Matthew Barnes.
