Chad Kinzebach, 51, peacefully died on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at Unity Point - Iowa Methodist Hospital with his family by his side.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Cox-Smith Funeral Home.  Burial will be at a later date.  Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, June 18, 2021, at Cox-Smith Funeral Home, located at 1 ^st Avenue and Prairie Street. Chad Allyn Kinzebach was born on August 16, 1969, in Grinnell to Barbara (Atkinson) and Dale Kinzebach. He graduated from East Greene High School in Grand Junction, Iowa.  Chad worked at Maytag until they closed, then was employed at Grinnell Implement until health issues arose.

Chad was a passionate man.  He was always there when you needed him; either to share a joyous occasion or just a friend to listen.  Chad enjoyed model cars, racing cars, watching NASCAR, riding motorcycles, gun shows and target practice.  He always looked forward to random road trips, especially with Merle and Aaron.  You could always count on him on Karaoke night.  He liked to cook, going fishing, BBQs.  Chad always rooted for the Chicago Cubs and the Bears.  He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family.

He will be remembered by his daughter, Kelcey (Nate) Smith of Malcom; mother, Barbara Osberg of Grinnell; grandchildren, Bailey, Colton and Logan, all of Malcom; brother Jeremiah (Jeanise) Pedersen of Jefferson, Iowa and his sister, Windy Osberg of Elk, Washington.

Chad was preceded in death by his father; maternal and paternal grandparents; his uncles and two beloved dogs, Neshia and Doc.
