Connie Jean Quinley, 59, of Grinnell, died peacefully at her home in Grinnell. Graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, February 28, 2022, in Hazelwood Cemetery. Memorials may be designated in her name and sent in care of Cox-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, PO Box 163, Grinnell, Iowa 50112.

Connie was born on October 9, 1962, to James and Delores (Richardson) Brown, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She attended schools there. On December 6, 1991, she was united in marriage the Michael Quinley.

She enjoyed listening to dance music, movies and tv shows. Connie liked collecting miscellaneous things and decorating her apartment. She recently took up knitting and had quite the "sweet tooth"! Being around her family was one of the things she loved the most, especially her grandchildren and soon to be great grandchildren.

Connie will be missed by her sons, RJ (Danen) Haxton of Kansas City, Missouri and Todd (Jessica) Brown of Grinnell; three grandchildren, Brittany, Natalie and Tyler and two great grandchildren on the way; her mother, Delores; her brother, Dan; and sisters, Brenda and Carol. Her love for her family will always be a cherished memory.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2002; husband, Michael in 2012, and her brother, Vernon Brown.
