Julia Ann Cox, 58, of Grinnell, died Thursday, December 21, 2023.

As per her wishes, she was cremated. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery at a late date. Memorials may be directed to the family and sent in care of Cox-Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, PO Box 163, Grinnell, Iowa 50112.

Julia was born on September 18, 1965, in Grinnell to Eldred and Betty (Corbett) Cox. She attended Grinnell High School. She worked at Swift for several years. Julia was married to Marion Vogel and they were blessed with two children, Jennifer and Steven. The couple later divorced.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Vogel and Steven Vogel; her grandchildren; and her siblings, Linda (Lloyd) Jones, Edward (Shari) Cox and Bud (Kelley) Cox.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
